Last updated: 1 January 2025 · Tunas Wealth, 39 Jalan Pinang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Tunas Wealth ("we", "us") and individuals who enquire about, register for, or attend our programmes. By submitting an enquiry or registering for a programme, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before registering.
1. About Tunas Wealth
Tunas Wealth is a personal finance education institute operating from 39, Jalan Pinang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. We provide structured educational programmes on personal finance topics. We are not a licensed financial adviser and do not provide personal financial advice. Nothing taught in our programmes constitutes investment advice or a recommendation to take any particular financial action.
2. Our Programmes
We currently offer three programmes:
- Foundation Year Programme — twelve monthly Saturday sessions at MYR 2,400 per participant
- Concentrated Six-Week Course — six Wednesday evening sessions at MYR 1,150 per participant
- Introductory Half-Day — one Saturday morning session at MYR 440 per participant
Programme content, schedules, fees, and availability are subject to change. Where we make material changes to a programme in which you are enrolled, we will notify you in advance and offer an appropriate remedy.
3. Enrolment and Confirmation
Submitting an enquiry does not constitute enrolment. Enrolment is confirmed only when we have accepted your application, issued a registration confirmation, and received payment in full. Places are allocated in the order confirmed registrations are received. We reserve the right to decline applications without explanation.
4. Payment
Programme fees are payable in full at the time of registration, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of all materials provided as part of the programme. Fees do not include any external materials participants may choose to purchase separately.
Payment may be made by bank transfer or through our online payment facility. We will confirm receipt of payment in writing. Programme fees are not subject to goods and services tax (GST), as Tunas Wealth is not a GST-registered entity at the date of this policy.
5. Cancellation by Participants
If you need to cancel your enrolment, please notify us in writing as soon as possible at [email protected]. The following cancellation terms apply:
- More than 28 days before the programme start date: full refund, less a MYR 50 administrative fee
- 14 to 28 days before the programme start date: 50% refund
- Fewer than 14 days before the programme start date: no refund, but you may transfer your place to another person with our agreement
- After the programme has commenced: no refund for sessions already passed; we will consider requests to transfer to a subsequent cohort on a case-by-case basis
For the Introductory Half-Day, the full fee is refunded if cancellation is received more than seven days before the session date.
6. Cancellation or Postponement by Tunas Wealth
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a programme due to insufficient enrolment, circumstances beyond our control, or other reasonable cause. Where we cancel a programme before it commences, we will offer a full refund of all fees paid. Where we postpone a programme, we will offer you the option of attending the rescheduled dates or receiving a full refund.
7. Attendance and Participation
Participants are expected to attend sessions in person at our premises unless we have communicated otherwise. We do not record sessions or make recordings available. Session notes provided after each Foundation Year session are intended as a supplement to attendance, not a substitute for it.
Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward instructors and other participants. We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a session or withdraw from a programme where their conduct is disruptive or offensive, without refund.
8. Intellectual Property
All course materials provided — including reading guides, session notes, and any written documents — are the intellectual property of Tunas Wealth. Participants may use materials for their own personal reference. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our programmes provide general financial education. We do not accept liability for any financial decisions taken by participants as a result of attending our programmes. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or our programmes shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the programme concerned.
10. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. We will notify enrolled participants of material changes by email. Your continued enrolment after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
